The York Rite is a general term used to describe three appendant organizations within U.S. Freemasonry - Royal Arch Masons, Cryptic Masons, and the Knights Templar. In order to join these additional Masonic bodies, you must first become a Freemason. Indianapolis Chapter and Council meet jointly on the Second Monday of the month. Raper Commandery meets the third Tuesday of the month. All bodies are dark in July and August, reconvening in September.  Raper Commandery is home to the most honored and decorated drill team in the United States  It is also home of the only period-correct medieval dress conferral team in Indiana, Levant Preceptory | Indianapolis Chapter No. 5  Indianapolis Council No. 2  Raper Commandery No. 1 |
